AI directories to submit your AI tool

Look for a category that describes the user’s task, such as music generation, meeting notes or document search. A broad AI label is rarely enough. Open several existing listings in that category and see whether the descriptions help a visitor choose. A general model API, an end-user app and a consulting service can have different eligibility rules. Avoid submitting to every site simply because AI appears in its name.

Write what the user provides and what the product returns. Include relevant limits, supported file types and whether the output needs review. For a music tool, describe whether it creates instrumental tracks, vocals or both. For a document assistant, explain which documents it searches and how answers reference the source. Keep pricing accurate: a limited free trial is different from a free plan.

Show the working product rather than a generic AI illustration. Capture a readable input and an example output with any private data removed. Make sure the landing page tells a reviewer what exists today and how to try it. Use your normal product domain and a contact email you monitor. If reviewers need special access, follow their instructions instead of exposing an unrestricted internal account.

Check what the fee buys: editorial review, a standard listing, priority processing or sponsored placement. These are different deliverables. Read the policy for rejected submissions and later edits. Evaluate the actual listing page and referral activity rather than copying a traffic claim into your forecast. If a placement is sponsored, it should be treated as advertising, with appropriate link attributes. Keep a record of the listing URL and the details you supplied.
